Terms of Service

Last updated: June 24, 2026.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the website at www.barberexteriorsolutions.com and the residential exterior cleaning services provided by Barber Exterior Solutions ("Barber Exterior Solutions," "we," "us," or "our"). Our services are offered to homeowners in the United States, primarily in Greensboro and the broader Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. The effective date of these Terms is June 24, 2026.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, requesting a quote, scheduling work, or accepting any service from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or request our services. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you are the property owner or are authorized to approve the work being requested on the property.

2. Services

Barber Exterior Solutions provides residential exterior cleaning services. These may include, but are not limited to, soft washing of house exteriors and roofs, pressure washing of driveways, walkways, and concrete surfaces, deck and patio cleaning, and gutter cleaning. The exact scope of work for your property will be described in the quote or work summary we provide to you.

  • All quotes are good faith estimates based on the information you give us and on photos or descriptions available before we arrive.
  • Final pricing may be adjusted after an on-site inspection if actual conditions differ from what was described, such as larger square footage, heavier soiling, additional surfaces, or unexpected access challenges.
  • We will inform you of any material change to the estimate before performing the additional work whenever it is reasonably possible to do so.
  • We use methods and detergents appropriate for each surface. Some staining, organic growth, or discoloration may not fully respond to cleaning, and results can vary based on the age and condition of the surface.

3. Quotes, Scheduling, and Payment

We will provide a quote describing the services to be performed and the associated price. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote, or for 30 days if no period is stated.

  • Payment. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work. We accept the payment methods identified at the time of booking. Invoices not paid by the due date may be subject to a late charge to the extent permitted by law.
  • Scheduling. We schedule appointments by date and, in many cases, by an arrival window rather than a precise time. We will make reasonable efforts to keep your scheduled appointment and to notify you of changes.
  • Weather. Exterior cleaning depends on safe working conditions. Rain, high winds, freezing temperatures, or other unsafe weather may require us to reschedule. A weather reschedule is not a cancellation by you and does not incur a fee.
  • Access and utilities. Our work requires access to a working outdoor water supply and, in some cases, electricity. If these are not available or functioning on the day of service, we may need to reschedule.

4. Customer Responsibilities

To help us perform the work safely and effectively, you agree to the following before our crew arrives:

  • Provide clear and safe access to the areas to be cleaned, including unlocking gates and securing or removing obstructions.
  • Secure or remove vehicles, grills, furniture, potted plants, decorations, and other personal items from the work area.
  • Close all windows and doors, and ensure that exterior outlets and fixtures are covered or protected where appropriate.
  • Secure pets indoors during the visit for their safety and the safety of our crew.
  • Disclose in advance any known hazards, delicate or non-standard surfaces, prior repairs, loose siding or trim, damaged screens, leaks, lead paint, or any condition that could affect the work or its outcome.

If a hazard or pre-existing condition is not disclosed and cannot reasonably be observed before work begins, we are not responsible for resulting damage.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by contacting us by phone or email. We ask for at least 24 hours of notice so that we can adjust our route and offer the time slot to another customer. Repeated last minute cancellations or a failure to provide access at the scheduled time may result in a trip charge to cover travel and labor costs. If we need to reschedule due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, we will work with you to find a new date at no additional charge.

6. Messaging Terms

If you provide your mobile phone number and agree to receive text messages, the following terms apply to the Barber Exterior Solutions messaging program.

  • Program name. Barber Exterior Solutions.
  • Purpose. Our text messages are transactional and relate to quote requests and appointment scheduling and coordination. We use them to confirm details, share arrival windows, and follow up on the service you requested.
  • Recurring messages may be sent.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
  • Reply HELP for help.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies based on your activity with us. For information about how we handle the data associated with these messages, please review our Privacy Policy. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services and our website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions, including but not limited to oxidation, chalking, fading, failing or improperly installed surfaces, deteriorated caulk or sealant, loose or rotted wood, cracked or worn concrete, aging roofing materials, or compromised window and door seals.
  • Cleaning can sometimes reveal pre-existing damage that was hidden by dirt, mildew, or organic growth. Revealing such a condition is not the same as causing it.
  • We are not responsible for water intrusion that occurs because windows, doors, vents, or other openings were not properly sealed or closed, or because of defects in the structure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of use. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

8. Warranties

We stand behind the quality of our work. Our goal is for you to be satisfied with the results. If you believe an area we serviced was missed or not cleaned to a reasonable standard, please contact us within 3 days of the service so we can inspect the area and, where appropriate, return to address legitimate concerns at no additional cost. This commitment applies to the agreed scope of work and does not cover staining or conditions that did not respond to cleaning, new soiling, organic regrowth over time, or pre-existing damage. Except as expressly stated here, we make no other warranties.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Barber Exterior Solutions and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your failure to disclose a hazard or pre-existing condition, your failure to secure the property or personal items as requested, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
